About Student Affairs

A Notre Dame education encompasses not only the intellectual development that comes through formal classes, study and research, but also the intellectual, spiritual, moral and social growth in a student's life outside the classroom.

The Division of Student Affairs is made up of the many hall staff members who support the residential mission of the University in our 27 undergraduate residence halls and two graduate residence facilities.

In addition, Student Affairs includes eleven different departments that offer a wide range of services designed to assist students in their educational experience at the University of Notre Dame. From Campus Ministry to Security, from Student Activities to the Health Center, the departments and staff of Student Affairs support the daily lives of our students.
