Career Services
World-Class Resources
Notre Dame’s Career Center, ranked #2 in the nation by Princeton Review in 2007, is dedicated to the development and implementation of innovative programs and services that promote life-long career management skills for students and alumni. For the third consecutive year, the Career Center received a grade of “A+” from Business Week as a result of high placement statistics, median starting salary, and feedback from employers and students.

Prestigious Internships, Valuable Experience
One of the Career Center’s greatest strengths is its ability to help interested students find meaningful internship experiences. Internships are important opportunities for students to gain experience and training related to their career and academic interests. A successful internship should contain a learning component and a greater understanding of the organization and the industry within which the internship takes place. The Career Center recommends students participate in internships to help clarify their career decisions.
The Career Center’s most recent Summer Internship Survey had more than 2,300 student responses, with over 1,450 students reporting that they had summer internships. Internship employers this year included: Accenture, Boston Scientific, Cornell Medical Center, Goldman Sachs, Google, Greenpeace, the Mayo Clinic, Microsoft, Motorola, Raytheon, Relay Worldwide, the White House, and the U.S. Senate. Nearly 100 students participated in international internships in Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, China, El Salvador, England, India, Japan, Kenya, Korea, Spain, Thailand, and Uganda.
