Denise McOsker holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany, with a dual major in History and Medieval and Renaissance Studies, as well as an M.A. in Secondary Education from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. She joins the rector cohort after eight years teaching high school social studies, sociology, and religion at John Carroll Catholic High School in Fort Pierce, Florida. Denise served as an adjunct instructor of English and English as a Second Language at Indian River Community College for four years. Prior to her work in the field of education, Denise spent a number of years coordinating laboratory research projects in hospitals. Until her recent move to South Bend, she was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL, where she served as the chair of the Liturgy Commission and oversaw all liturgy committees.
