Nathan graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in History in 1999. After graduation, he spent two and a half years in Calle Larga, Chile, doing volunteer service with Holy Cross Associates. Upon returning to the United States, he went to the University of Arizona to complete a Master’s degree in Agricultural Education. While in Arizona, he worked in refugee resettlement, taught World History at a local high school, served on the Diocese of Tucson Border Ministry Team and, through his parish, was involved for four and a half years in the local community-organizing project, Pima County Interfaith Council. Since returning to South Bend in 2006, Nathan has worked on projects at the Mendoza College of Business and served as the Adult Education Director for St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Nathan and his wife, Katie, have one daughter. University Village and Cripe Street Apartments
