Ron Vierling, a diocesan priest who also belongs to the Oblates of Mary at the Foot of the Cross, was ordained in 1992 in the Archdiocese of New York. He received his B.A., M.A., and M.Div. degrees from Holy Apostles College in Cromwell, CT, and has an Associate’s degree from St. Mary’s College in Orchard Lake, MI.
For the seven years before his arrival at ND in 2005, Ron was engaged in youth ministry as a full-time teacher and chaplain for high school students. He has taught adult religious education, served as chair of the theology department, and been a parish administrator.
