Ms. Sophie Henrichs joins the rector cohort after completing three years as Residence Hall Campus Minister at the University of Dayton. She brings strong ministerial experience to her new role at Notre Dame. During her undergraduate years at St. Mary’s University in Texas, Sophie served as Youth Ministry Coordinator in a bilingual urban parish for the Archdiocese of San Antonio. While pursuing graduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, she also served as an RCIA team member for St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in South Bend.
Sophie received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Theology major and Sociology minor from St. Mary’s University in Texas, where she graduated cum laude in 2002. She was awarded her Master’s degree in Theological Studies with a focus on Systematic Theology from the University of Notre Dame in 2004.
