Breyan Tornifolio has nine years of experience working in residence life, serving for the last three years as rector of Pasquerilla East here at the University of Notre Dame. Prior to her time at ND, Breyan served as Coordinator of Residence Life at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, WV, and an M.A. in Higher Education from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. During her three years at St. Vincent College, Breyan oversaw residential programming for all first-year students and supervised a staff of 17 resident assistants and an assistan t hall director in a residence hall for 330 first-year students. She worked concurrently in the Residence Life Office and sat on a number of college committees. As Coordinator of Institutional Research at Wheeling Jesuit University, Breyan created and analyzed surveys, studied student retention rates, and performed departmental audits. She also served as a resident assistant for two years while pursuing her graduate degree.
